TGV France Italy trains offer a great range of services. If you are planning to take your pet with you on your travels or just looking for some more information about services before your journey, you'll find all the information you'll need below.
TGV FRANCE ITALY LUGGAGE
Each passenger is allowed 2 bags/suitcases plus their hand luggage on board.
The luggage racks can be found at the end of each carriage. There are no charges for oversized luggage.
TGV FRANCE ITALY PETS
Domestic pets can travel with you on TGV France Italy services.
- Your pet must stay with you during the entire journey
- Dogs must be kept on a lead and wear a muzzle
- Small pets under 6kg must be kept in a pet carrier - maximum size 45x30x25cm
- Guide dogs can travel for free. For other dogs over 6kg you'll need to buy a ticket
- There is a maximum of 2 dogs or 2 pet carriers per passenger
Pet tickets do not have to be purchased in advance. They can be purchased at the station on the date of travel. Pets will not get a reserved seat; they have to remain by the customer's feet for the duration of the journey.
TGV FRANCE ITALY ACCESS
All TGV France Italy trains are fully equipped for disabled travellers. There are 3 disabled spaces with companion seats. There is also a disabled toilet. Manual and electric wheelchairs can be taken on board - max dimensions 125 x 75 cm.
TGV FRANCE ITALY BIKES
Any bicycle that can be folded into a bike bag can be taken on the TGV France Italy service free of charge.
This will count towards your luggage allowance.
Bikes must be carried in a bike bag, with max dimensions of 120 x 90cm.
TGV FRANCE ITALY FOOD
There is one buffet car on each train - this serves a variety of hot and cold meals, drinks and snacks. First Class passengers have the option of purchasing a meal served to them at their seat.
A trolley service operates for all passengers, selling snacks and hot and cold drinks.
